The Council values the contribution of its alumni and watches their individual careers with great interest. Former delegates of the Council include many who are now in prominent political positions, including ministers, parliamentarians, and leaders in political and government organisations, and corporate Australia.

Delegates are expected to continue their involvement with the Council after their exchange by participating in programs for incoming exchanges. This includes suggesting or arranging activities, providing briefings, attending Council activities and hosting functions. Delegates are encouraged to promote the program among colleagues and in the broader community.
